The people in the arctic are required to build igloos to survive and stay warm. What type of elements of geography are you using
solniwko [45]
The hard snow walls of an igloo are good insulators that keep in body heat and also the heat generated by oil lamps, these are known as qulliq. This is why traditional igloos are commonly made out of snow rather than ice and this is because solid ice does not retain heat as well as blocks of compressed snow. In addition, the walls block the wind, which is often so bitter that it can make freezing temperatures feel many degrees colder. Also, insulation capabilities actually increase a few days after construction. Body heat and sun exposure cause the inside of the igloo to melt ever so slightly. When the igloo is unoccupied during hunting expeditions, the melted snow freezes over, turning into ice. Gradual thawing and refreezing turns the entire structure to solid ice, making it not only superstrong, but warmer than ever.

The preamble to the Declaration of Independence outlet to principles upon which the new government would be best which of these
Alenkinab [10]

Answer:

A government based on a social contract, is the right answer.

Explanation:

The Second Continental Congress adopted the pronouncement "the Declaration of Independence" during its conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 4th June 1776. Under this declaration, the thirteen colonies of America had to explain why do they regard themselves as a sovereign state.

The thirteen colonies of America in the Declaration of Independence rejected the very idea of the divine right of rule and based their bid for independence on the Social contract theory of John Locke. John Locke in his "Second Treatise of Government" argued that the laws and political orders are the product of humans and are not natural. He also stated that people are born with some natural rights that the government or anyone can't take away. Therefore, these ideas of natural rights were adopted by the authors of the Declaration of Independence.

Which of the following best states an interpretation of the Second Amendment?
deff fn [24]

Answer:

There should be no limits on owning and using guns.

Explanation:

The Second Amendment was added to the constitution to protect people's right to keep and bear arms and the government's right to establish a Militia for the defense of the nation. Therefore, "There should be no limits on owning and using guns" is the statement that best interprets the statute because the statute is not specific enough, it can be broadly understood that since people have the right to own arms for self-defense, they also have the right to use them when there is a threat to their security.

The amendment states: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
