The first destination of the food is, of course, your mouth. After it has been chewed it enters the esophagus. This is where it starts to be broken down, but very little. After that, it then enters the stomach to begin the next part of digestion.

Food enters the mouth and travels down the esophagus to the stomach. From there it travels through the small and large intestine. Undigested food remains in the rectum until it is passed through the anus.
