Answer:

Mean - 5

Median - 5

Mode - 2

Range - 6

Step-by-step explanation:

Mean-

If you add 2 + 7 + 8 + 4 + 8 + 2+ 5+ 5+ 7 +2= 50

50 divided by 10 (the amount of numbers in the equation) = 5 for the mean

Median-

Put the numbers in order which is

2,2,2,4,5,5,7,7,8,8 and the number is the middle is 5

Mode-

The number that repeats the most is 2

Range-

The largest number is 8 and the smallest number is 2 so 8-2=6

Factor completely 3x2 - 21.
VMariaS [17]
3x² - 21

Factor 3 from both terms:

3 (x² - 7)

To me, that's as far as you should need to go.  But if you want to get
completely carried away, you could go one step further, since you have
the difference of two squares:

3 (x + √7) (x - √7)

Of course, there's no end now, because the last binomial could be
considered another difference of two squares, so you'd have to
factor that too:

3 (x + √7) (√x + ⁴√7) (√x - ⁴√7)

but to me, this would be nonsense.

PLEASE HELP ME PRE CAL/TRIG
miss Akunina [59]

Answer:

A) 60 Degrees

B) 550 Feet

C) 2.5 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

a) So the wheel has completed one revolution in 10 minutes so lets first divide 100 secs with 10 minutes to calculate the the fraction of revolution

1 min = 60 secs

10 min = 600 secs

100/600 = 1/6

One complete revolution is 360 degrees and 1/6 of 360 degrees will be 60 degrees .

360/6 = 60°

b)  It takes 10 minutes to complete one revolution so if the person is on it for 7 minutes it would be 7/10 of a revolution . The ferris wheel has a diameter of 250 feet so the radius will be 125 feet because it is the half of the diameter and the circumference will be 250 π . To calculate the distance lets multiple the fraction of the revolution which is 7/10 into the circumference \frac{7}{10} * (250 pi) = 550 Feet.

C)It took 10 minutes to travel 250 π now we will use this relation to calculate 200 feet . lets suppose t is for time .

\frac{250pi}{10} =\frac{200}{t}.

After solving this equation as there is only one unknown which is "<em>t</em> "the answer will be 2.5 minutes.
