How does the fault in our stars title relate to the story relate ti the book?
34kurt
Hello!

The title comes from a line in one of Shakespear's plays.
"The Fault in Our Stars" is kind of like another way to say "our really bad luck". I believe the title relates to events that take place in the story. Events such as Hazel getting cancer, Augustus getting cancer and having his leg amputated, and Gus' death.
Of course, Hazel and Gus didn't cause the cancer - it just happened. Although they went to the doctor and for treatments frequently, they weren't able to avoid it. Nor were they able to avoid Gus' death.

How did johnny feel about dally in chapter 5 (the outsiders)
Olin [163]
When they were reading Gone with the Wind, Johnny points out that the characters in the novel remind him of Dally. Johnny feels that Dally is so real. He thinks that Dally is just like his big brother because Dally was always there for johnny. Dally always kept him away from troubles because he cares for Johnny. In Dally's world, Johnny is the only person that he cares for. He doesn't want Johnny to be cold-hearted and mean like himself. So Johnny feels that Dally is just like his big brother.

What is the connection between knowing about a danger and bravery?
zepelin [54]
Knowing about a danger and bravery are connected because in both you are knowing about the danger, when you are brave you will face the danger that you know about, if you just know about the danger you don’t have to be brave however. But if you know about danger and go for it anyways you are brave to do so. (Sorry if this doesn’t help)

Why is 40 days so important?
irinina [24]
40 days are important because:-

Grade wise:- If you were to miss out on 40 days of classes, it would bring you very behind in your classes. Your grades would drop tremendously and you would get stressed.

Health wise:- If you dont brush your teeth for 40 days, or even go off your diet for 40 days, your health would be in danger. YOU NEED TO BRUSH YOUR TEETH AT LEAST TWICE EACH DAY!! Also, make sure you keep a balanced diet. :)
