This sounds like he is experiencing AIDS or Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome which are a group of syndromes that result from an uncontrolled HIV infection. HIV or Human Immunodeficiency Virus is a viral agent responsible for infection of the same name that attacks the immune system cells directly lowering it to the point where the body becomes impaired when fighting off other illnesses. Common Colds are a very tell tale signs of one because instead of disappearing after a day to several it is clear the immune system is failing. Additionally uncommon illness like fungi that usually float around like Aspergillis or Coccidiodimycosis can take root fairly easy. Additionally the siaease can be confirmed by low WBC counts.

The nurse provides discharge instructions to the mother of a child following a myringotomy with insertion of tympanoplasty tubes
tigry1 [53]

Answer:

The answer to the question: Which statement by the mother indicates the need for further teaching, would be, 3. "My child can swim in the lake or pool as long as the water is not too deep."

Explanation:

Myringotomy with insertion of tymbanoplasty tubes is a surgical procedure in which, with the use of a myringotomy knife, the tympanic membrane is cut open with a small incision to allow fluid trapped in the middle ear to fow out. In order to allow further fluid to flow out of the ear, and for proper aireation of the site, small tubes known as tympanic tubes will be placed into the incision. Because of the very purpose of the procedure, and the reasons why it was done, having the mother of this child say that she may allow her child to swim in water, regardless of the depth of it, especially lake and pool water which are not sterile, shows that she does not understand the reasoning behind the procedure and must be further taught to prevent an infection to the ear and to prevent damage of the surgery.

kirza4 [7]

Answer:

Chloroplast

Explanation:

This is because in the  first stage of photosynthesis(light dependent stage) i  water molecules is spilt  by sunlight absorbed by chlorophyll- Photolysis into  H+  and electrons, with Oxygen.

It is the H+ from above that is used to reduce CO2 in the light independent stage, as the Calvin Cycle, to produce Glucose, fatty acid, and protein.

Therefore in absence of water, absorption   by the xylem due to inhibition by toxin, Photosynthesis is INHIBITED.Since no H+ is produced.
