To be honest, these answer choices are a bit baffling. The best answer in my opinion would be to do at least two of the three options given below.

  1. Place a price floor above the equilibrium.
  2. Decrease imports from other countries.
  3. Reduce current supply (reduce herd sizes).

Doing that should increase the prices.

Placing a floor above equilibrium will force the equilibrium to move upward, and with the reduce in supply from other countries, demand will shift toward the domestic producers. Without the demand shift, there simply would be an oversupply or surplus of dairy. Either the surplus is thrown away or its simply housed somewhere else (often at taxpayer expense).

---------------

If you place a ceiling below equilibrium, then the price will go down to that ceiling value. That will be the highest price possible. This is the opposite of what the farmers want. It gets even worse when you increase milk imports (since supply goes up leading to further reduced prices). So that rules out choice A.

If you place a ceiling above equilibrium, then nothing happens. The price stays at equilibrium. Nothing too exciting here. This rules out choice B (though I agree with the "decrease imports" portion).

If you set a floor below equilibrium, then nothing happens similar to the last paragraph above. The price stays where it is. We can rule out choice C. Reducing herd sizes will reduce supply so that could maybe increase prices.

I'm not really familiar with the term "arbitrage" so I probably won't be any help here. That seems like an answer choice that is a distraction, but I'm not sure.

The distance on a map between Lynwood and Forest Hill is 3.75 inches. According to the map key, 0.25 inch on the map is equivale
Volgvan

Answer:

15 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the actual distance in miles between Lynwood and Forest Hill, we can use a rule of three:

If 0.25 inch on the map is equivalent to 1 mile, then 3.75 inch on the map is equivalent to what distance:

0.25 inch -> 1 mile

3.75 inch -> X miles

0.25/3.75 = 1/X

X = 3.75/0.25 = 15 miles

The actual distance between Lynwood and Forest Hill is 15 miles.

Determine if the solution set for the system of equations shown is the empty set, contains one point or is infinite. x + y = 6 x
Mnenie [13.5K]

The solution of the system of equations contains one point

How to determine the number of solutions?

The system is given as:

x + y = 6

x - y = 0

Add both equations

2x = 6

Divide by 2

x = 3

Substitute x = 3 in x - y = 0

3 - y = 0

Solve for y

y = 3

So, we have x =3 and y = 3

Hence, the solution of the system of equations contains one point

Answer: I can only help you with number Im sorry

Step-by-step explanation:

10(-1.2 + 6) = 48

X = 3    Y = 2

-4 x 3 = -12    30 x 2 = 60

-12 + 60

48

48 = 48

90 POINTS WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST for which value of theta is cot theta equal to cos theta
Angelina_Jolie [31]

Answer:

...so cos t = cot t can only happen when cos t is 0 or sin t is 1. (But sin t = 1 only happens when cos t = 0, so cos t = 0 is enough.)

arccos(0) is pi/2, plus or minus any multiple of pi.

Step-by-step explanation:

cotθ = cosθ

cosθ/sinθ = cosθ

sinθ = 1

θ = π/2

pi also = to 3.14 etc.
