A = L * W
W = 8
L = 4W....L = 4(8) = 32

A = 32 * 8
A = 256 m^2 <==

If the width is 8 meters and the length is
4 times the width then the length is 32 meters. Therefore according to the formula (length x width), multiply 32 and 8 which will result in the product of 256 square meters

Solve the variable in the following equation: 5 + h = 11 − 2h
Svetlanka [38]

Answer: B. h = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

5 + h = 11 - 2h

Add 2h on both sides

5 + h + 2h = 11 - 2h + 2h

5 + 3h = 11

Subtract 5 on both sides

5 + 3h - 5 = 11 - 5

3h = 6

Divide both sides by 3

3h / 3 = 6 / 3

h = 2

Hope this helps!! :)

Explanation:

Your different answers came about as a result of an error you made in the Pythagorean theorem calculation.

  √(100 +100) = √200 = 14.142 . . . . same as vector calculation

What is the perimeter of a rectangle where the width is "n+0.6" and the length is "n"
Damm [24]
2n + 2(n+0.6) = p
perimeter is all 4 sides added together in length.  Since we understand one of the sides as n, we can multiply by 2 to represent both of those sides.  We then understand the other side as n+0.6.  We can multiply that by 2 to represent the other two sides.
Adding the representation of 2 sides to the representation of 2 sides will equal the perimeter if we ever discover what n is numerically.

I cannot figure this question out
uysha [10]

Answer:

1/12

Step-by-step explanation:

you need to make sure that they have a common denominator before doing anything.

Find the lowest common multiple (lcm), which would be 12 (3 x 4 = 12)

So then, put 12 as both denominators, and subtract.

7/12 - 9/12 is equal to 28/12 - 27/12, because 3 miltiplied by 4 equals 12, therefore you mutiply the 7 by the 4, and 4 miltiplied by 3 equals 12, therefore you multiply the 9 by the 3.

Sorry if this is confusing, i tried explaining as best i could! Hope this helped!
