Answer:

Option (B)- Logging

Explanation:

The humans have not impacted the tundra by carrying out the logging activity as in the tundra region, there is significantly less number of trees and the temperature is relatively very cold and most of the time the land areas are covered with snow and ice. This covers the regions of higher latitudes, extending from about 60 degrees up to the poles in both the hemisphere. Due to this less abundance of trees, the logging activity is not carried out in this particular region.

Further explanation:

Logging is defined as the activity where the trees are cut down and processed and are transported to the site where they are extensively used in order to make materials such as furniture, manufacturing of paper and other products.

The tundra region is usually characterised by the presence of the permafrost layer, which is a permanently frozen layer present under the surface of the earth. They are made up of materials such as soil, sand, gravel that are accumulated together by ice.

This logging activity has a direct effect on the atmosphere. It is because the deforestation process causes a reduction in the number of trees, as a result of which the CO2 present in the atmosphere will increase the global temperature of the earth, thereby causing the greenhouse effect. Increasing logging activity also leads to soil erosion and degradation of the soil quality.

Due to the absence of the trees, the tundra region is not affected by the logging activity.

Explain the process of precipitation, evaporation, and condensation within the water cycle
andre [41]

evaporation is when a mass of water is hit by sunlight and some of it turns to a vapor. In the atmosphere, that vapor cools and the water molecules fuse with other water molecules, forming clouds. (condensation) When the clouds become full, the water precipitates onto land or into the ocean in the form of rain, sleet, snow or hail (precipitation).

Keith_Richards [23]

Answer:

correct option is A. increased water temperature

Explanation:

solution

we know as logging resulted in increased temperature as when watershed is partially clear cut or logging completely then decreased concentrations of dissolved oxygen and clear cut also reduced forest cover that also increase temperature

and generally by deposition of fine sediment in the gravel also carried out logging

so here correct option is A. increased water temperature

Which type of volcano is shown in the image?
sertanlavr [38]

Answer:

D. Fissure

Explanation:

On the image, we have a fissure. The fissure is a linear volcanic vent through which there are eruptions occurring. The fissures are connected with the volcano, but they can be tens of kilometers away from the volcano, or even more. This makes them very dangerous, as they can occur pretty much everywhere around the volcano, suddenly erupting from bellow the ground, making explosions, cracking the ground, and causing fires.
