Read the following passage either out loud or to yourself, looking for the following five mistakes: 1-fragment, 1-run-on sentenc

e, 1-missing comma, 1-missing apostrophe, and 1- verb mistake. Rewrite the paragraph correctly and underline your corrections:
When a group of rare white lions arrived at the Philadelphia Zoo. It was an exciting event. The lions were the only ones of their kind in North America they soon became the zoo's most popular exhibit. The lions are native to southern Africa. They are so rare because of a problem caused by their unusual color. Most lions, with their golden-brown color, can sneak through grass and trees without being detected. But the moonlight shining on the white lions' coats make it difficult for them to hunt at night. Its too easy for other animals to see them. Therefore most white lions in the wild starve to death. Although all the white lions in Philadelphia are female, the zoo is hoping to get a white male soon and raise a family of white lion cubs.

The but had to be removed.

A comma was added between zoo and it so that there wouldn't be a fragment.

An apostrophe was added between t and s in it's.

A comma was added between America and they for the run-on.

Felsenfeld describes himself as a rebel. Which of the following is NOT included in his definition of a rebel?
ser-zykov [4K]

In the book titled Rebel Music by Daniel Felsenfeld. Felsenfeld described himself as a rebel in some ways. However, out of the options available his definition of a rebel is not "Rebels are raised in families of rebels."

This is because in the book he let the readers understand that he is a rebel in terms of music. He explained further that his act of rebellion is based on the fact that he loves or has a passion for a different kind of music than the usual or contemporary ones. He prefers classical music. And he described himself as the lone Bolshevik in his army. Going by his definition, it means that his definition of a rebel can mean any of the three options above which are:

Rebels break molds (the fact that he has a passion for classical music makes him unconventional in his time)

Rebels are anti-establishment (loving classical music against contemporary music like hip hop)

Rebels are weird by their chosen self-expression (the fact he doesn't love contemporary music makes him weird among other people of his age).

Hence, in this case, the correct answer to the question is option D "Rebels are raised in families of rebels."
