Comminuted fractures are the terms used to describe fractures that have broken into several pieces. Normally all of the other terms are used to describe fractures that are broken through once. Impacted fractures though are fractures that are a result of severe compression of an area of the bone, and its possible to have it be a Comminuted fracture.

Which characteristics can be used to classify the tree as a gymnosperm rather than “any other type of seed” plant?
erica [24]
1. Naked Seeds, Gymnosperm means 'naked seed' and these were the earliest trees to evolve. They do not produce flowers and have seeds which are directly exposed to the air for wind pollination. Pine cones are one example. For ease you might think of the gymnosperms as conifers, such as yew and Scots pine.
