The Olympic Games, are worldwide, the first edition of the OG. was in 1896 in Athens and are held every 4 years. In its program, a maximum of 28 sports are disputed and at least 15, according to the Olympic Charter.
The Pan American Games are a continental version (the three Americas) of the Olympic Games, including both the Olympic Program sports, and others suggested by the organization of the competition and approved by PASO (Pan American Sports Organization).
