Thus, the person would understand the reason why the author describes certain situations, uses certain words, and even some issues will be more relevant, in that sense the reader would understand the story in a different and new way. For example, in the novel "The Picture of Dorian Grey" knowing the school of thought of the author and how was the society structured in the epoch would make the reader understand why does Henry talk with such irony, the ideas beyond the story, among other aspects.
