FEMA--Federal Emergency Management Agency

This federal program is responsible for managing natural and man-made disasters in the US. During hurricane Katrina, FEMA was delayed in their response leaving many without shelter, food, or water. Though states had requested help prior to landfall, most of the help from the federal government began days after the hurricane hit.

castortr0y [4]

Answer:

Explanation:

There were protests mainly against police brutality and systemic racism. Much like the MLKJr movement for the equality of people in the U.S. this was also followed with a small amount of unrest. But they are justified in what they want from the country and they have every right guaranteed by the constitution to assemble and protest.

OverLord2011 [107]

The main reason why Alexis de Tocqueville traveled to the united states was to observe American democracy in action, and to take note of what worked and what didn't, as many European countries were going through democratic revolutions of their own.
