<span>The author, like many in Germany, thought that Hitler was just saying things to gain popularity, and to get elected. They didn't realize that once he was in office, the Nazis would create anti-Semitic laws that would persecute Jews. Even though Hitler made his true feelings known about the Jewish people in his book, Mein Kampf, most people did not think that he would send Jewish people to ghettos or commit genocide.</span>

At first, the author thought that the Nazis' were just defending their country, Germany But soon, in the story, all the Nazis' were killing people to gain leadership and land. Therefore the author did not know how dangerous the Nazis were until she got deeper into the war because they were killing just to gain leadership.

what is the most important reason the code of hammurabi has had lasting influence on history and the present day?
lys-0071 [83]

Answer: The Code of Hammurabi is a set of laws created in Mesopotamia around the 18th century BC by King Hammurabi of the first Babylonian dynasty.

The code is based on the talon law, "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth." It was printed on a block of rock using cuneiform writing.

The laws provided punishments for non-compliance with rules established in various areas such as family relations, commerce, construction, agriculture, livestock. The punishments occurred according to the position that the criminal person held in the social hierarchy.

Nowadays most of people do not have this idea to repay the same suffering that was caused, the idea of punishments according to hierarchy. It was an idea from the past, for people that lived in a different society, with a different structure as well.

According to the map, identify one thing that traveled from the Americas to Europe Africa and Asia
xxTIMURxx [149]

Answer:

Hello. You did not put the map to which this question refers, but I can help you by showing you something that traveled from the Americas to Europe, Africa and Asia, which were agricultural products.

Explanation:

Through the Colombian exchange, it was possible that many products originating in the American continent were transported to other continents, Europe, Asia and Africa. The majority of these products were agricultural products, specifically food products, which modified food on all these continents, through trade and colonial exploitation.

As an example of this, we can mention the production of potatoes, corn and sweet potatoes in America that was brought to Europeans and Asians, being introduced in their food, supplying problems of supply and influencing the food of citizens. The corn produced in the Americas was transported to Africa, several times, causing the same impact that it had in Europe.
