Answer:- m∠S=78°.

Explanation:-

Given:- Two congruent triangles ΔMNP and ΔQST which are congruent, where m∠M=66° and m∠N=78°.

⇒The corresponding parts of ΔMNP are congruent to the ΔQST .

Therefore, all the corresponding sides of ΔMNP are congruent to the ΔQST and all the corresponding angles of ΔMNP are congruent to the ΔQST such that

MN=QS , NP=ST and MP=QT.

m∠M=m∠Q, m∠P= m∠T and m∠N=m∠S.

Substitute the value of m∠N=78°, we get

m∠S=78°.

The midpoint of . is the point M, where AM = 5x + 4 and MB = 3+16 . Find the length of . AB
kirill115 [55]

Answer:

<h2>AB = 38</h2><h2 />

Step-by-step explanation:

|<----------------- AB ------------------->|

A--------------------M--------------------B

     5x + 4                      3+16

since M is at midpoint, AM = MB

5x + 4 = 3 + 16

5x = 3 + 16 - 4

x = 15 / 5

x = 3

AB = AM + MB

AB = 5(3) + 4 + 3 + 16

AB = 15 + 23

AB = 38

What's the area of this rectangle?
Bess [88]

well, the assumption is that is a rectangle, namely it has two equal pairs, so we can just find the length of one of the pairs to get the dimensions.

hmmmm let's say let's get the length of the segment at (-1,-3), (1,3) for its length

and

the length of the segment at (-1, -3), (-4, -2) for its width

\bf ~~~~~~~~~~~~\textit{distance between 2 points} \\\\ (\stackrel{x_1}{-1}~,~\stackrel{y_1}{-3})\qquad (\stackrel{x_2}{1}~,~\stackrel{y_2}{3})\qquad \qquad d = \sqrt{( x_2- x_1)^2 + ( y_2- y_1)^2} \\\\\\ \stackrel{length}{L}=\sqrt{[1-(-1)]^2+[3-(-3)]^2}\implies L=\sqrt{(1+1)^2+(3+3)^2} \\\\\\ L=\sqrt{4+36}\implies L=\sqrt{40} \\\\[-0.35em] ~\dotfill

\bf (\stackrel{x_1}{-1}~,~\stackrel{y_1}{-3})\qquad (\stackrel{x_2}{-4}~,~\stackrel{y_2}{-2})\qquad \qquad d = \sqrt{( x_2- x_1)^2 + ( y_2- y_1)^2} \\\\\\ \stackrel{width}{w}=\sqrt{[-4-(-1)]^2+[-2-(-3)]^2}\implies w=\sqrt{(-4+1)^2+(-2+3)^2} \\\\\\ w=\sqrt{9+1}\implies w=\sqrt{10} \\\\[-0.35em] ~\dotfill\\\\ \stackrel{\textit{area of the rectangle}}{A=Lw}\implies \sqrt{40}\cdot \sqrt{10}\implies \sqrt{400}\implies \boxed{20}

Express this to single logarithm
zzz [600]

Answer:  \log_{2}\left(\frac{q^2\sqrt{m}}{n^3}\right)

We have something in the form log(x/y) where x = q^2*sqrt(m) and y = n^3. The log is base 2.

===========================================================

Explanation:

It seems strange how the first two logs you wrote are base 2, but the third one is not. I'll assume that you meant to say it's also base 2. Because base 2 is fundamental to computing, logs of this nature are often referred to as binary logarithms.

I'm going to use these three log rules, which apply to any base.

  1. log(A) + log(B) = log(A*B)
  2. log(A) - log(B) = log(A/B)
  3. B*log(A) = log(A^B)

From there, we can then say the following:

\frac{1}{2}\log_{2}\left(m\right)-3\log_{2}\left(n\right)+2\log_{2}\left(q\right)\\\\\log_{2}\left(m^{1/2}\right)-\log_{2}\left(n^3\right)+\log_{2}\left(q^2\right) \ \text{ .... use log rule 3}\\\\\log_{2}\left(\sqrt{m}\right)+\log_{2}\left(q^2\right)-\log_{2}\left(n^3\right)\\\\\log_{2}\left(\sqrt{m}*q^2\right)-\log_{2}\left(n^3\right) \ \text{ .... use log rule 1}\\\\\log_{2}\left(\frac{q^2\sqrt{m}}{n^3}\right) \ \text{ .... use log rule 2}

Please help me im almost done!
kumpel [21]

Answer:

if you divide both sides of -5x > 0 you get z > <em>0. </em>This is incorrect because if you choose a value from the possible solutions such as z=6 and substitute it into the original equation you get <em>-30</em> > 0, which is <em>not true</em>

I put the answers in bold

hope this helps!
