The Exposition introduces the character and setting. The Rising Action is the event/events that show how the complications in the plot develop. The Climax is the turning point in which you discover how the conflict will be settled. The Falling Action is the event/events immediately following the climax. Lastly, the Denouement/Resolution is the final stage of the plot where the reader learns how the problem is solved. :D

Read the following sentence:
Lina20 [59]

Answer:

B. Tonya has a bandage, so the reader knows that she has hurt her finger.

Explanation:

We are asked to select an answer that tells us why the sentence overexplains the meaning.

The sentence is: Tonya had a bandage on her finger because she had hurt it in some way.

This sentence overexplains by stating the fact that Tonya had hurt her finger. If the sentence had simply stated:

Tonya had a bandage on her finger.

The reader could infer that she had hurt her finger, instead of the sentence having to explain that fact.

I hope you have a wonderful day! If you found this answer helpful, Brainliest is appreciated.

What might be your purpose in writing an essay about a favorite television show?
Lady_Fox [76]

Answer:

If you write an essay about your favourite television show, you probably want to inform your audience what you consider is so good about it and why you think it is important for others to watch it.

Explanation:

If you think the best format to express why you think that show is the best show on tv, you probably think that you need to give precise information and data in order to be clear for your audience, otherwise, you would just write a short article or you would tweet about it. But, you think the essay is the best way because you think of it as a deep subject, you have reasons, you have information and you want everyone to know how this show is so great and why they should watch it too.
