The Exposition introduces the character and setting. The Rising Action is the event/events that show how the complications in the plot develop. The Climax is the turning point in which you discover how the conflict will be settled. The Falling Action is the event/events immediately following the climax. Lastly, the Denouement/Resolution is the final stage of the plot where the reader learns how the problem is solved. :D
