It’s an inequality. In this question it’s stating g+8 is smaller than 2 meaning that the maximum value of g is (negative) -6.1 or -(61/10) recurring but it depends what year you are in as higher year use inequalities with a less than or equal to sign or more than or equal to sign and this problem has no equal to sign if your in a lower year the answer may be just be -7 so the answer is a whole number (hope this helps)

Kobotan [32]

Answer:

17.2

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to use the law of sines

sin A           sin B

------------ = ----------

a                   b

sin 25           sin 27

------------ = ----------

16                   x

Using cross products

x sin 25 = 16 sin 27

Divide each side by sin 25

x = 16 sin 27 / sin 25

x =17.18772863

Rounding to the nearest tenth

x = 17.2
