There are different kinds of Poetic elements. The poetic element and structural techniques used are couplet, sonnet, Rhyme Scheme, Iambic pentameter.

Sonnet: A sonnet is simply defined as a fourteen lined poem that is offten written in iambic pentameter. This Shakespearean sonnet is known to have one octave and sestet.

Couplet: not that there is always good and well written lines of verse in a couplet, and they are found in the same meter and often linked by rhyme. In this poem, the sonnet was known to have ended with a couplet. This therefore depicts  the key or central idea of the poem.

Rhyme Scheme: The rhyme scheme in this poem is known to be accompanied  by a full sonnet called ABAB CDCD EBEB FF.

Iambic Pentameter: It is commonly known to be a type of meter that is known to also have five iambs. This poem is known to have Iambic  Example given is quoted below “When in disgrace with Fortune and men’s eyes.”

The literary devices used in this poem are Assonance, imagery, consonance, etc.
