Who wrote texts that challenged traditional views of female potential?
luda_lava [24]

Mary Wollstonecraft wrote texts that challenged traditional views of female potential.

Explanation:

A statement of the Rights of Women by Mary Wollstonecraft was a groundbreaking literary work that still echoes with today's movements in women's and human rights.

There were two major causes for concern for feminist thinkers involved in the project to re-read and to restructure philosophical canons. One is the historical exclusion issue.

Feminist philosophy is presented with a culture that insists that there are no female philosophers.

Women are obviously not completely absent from philosophy history, which brings us to the second challenge. Canon thinkers said much about women and how are the females.

How was Blanche K. Bruce’s senator ship different from that of Hiram Revels?
mario62 [17]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Blanche K. Bruce’s senatorship was different from that of Hiram Revels in that although Hiram Revels was the first African American in the United States Senate, he did not serve the entire six years term that is allowed for senators. The first African American Senator that indeed served his whole six years term was Blanche K. Bruce.

Hiram Revels entered the Senate after white Senator Albert G. Brown resigned in 1861. When Revels term ended he went to lead what today is Alcorn State University. In the case of Blanche K. Bruce, his term started in 1875 and ended in 1881. After his period he went to work for the US Treasury.
