After World War II, American policymaker George Kennan came up with the idea of containment, which stressed stopping the further
spread of communism using financial and military means. The Korean War was an example of the use of military force to contain communism. The Marshall Plan was an example of using financial resources to stop the spread of communism. In your opinion, which method was more effective in containment? Why
Financial aid would not have stopped the military invasion of South Korea. South Korea is a democracy today because of our military intervention.
Financial:
Communism can take root only in societies that are unstable. The Marshall Plan stabilized many countries, making a radical ideology, such as communism, unattractive to the people of those countries.
The Marshall Plan protected more countries than military intervention could.
Sample response: The cost of higher education needs to be reduced to prepare future students for the jobs they will need, and to fuel the nation's ongoing research and technological development. An investment in online education will reduce costs and increase accessibility.
I don't think that democracy can survive in the slums. I think so because people in the slums are always treated badly for the things they don't have and they have to turn to illegal means to survive. It's do or die in the slums and Democracy died in a losing battle.
