Jomo Kenyatta is an example of an independence leader during the 20th century.
Kenyatta started as an anti-colonial activist in Kenya, working to get the British to leave. After the end of the colonial era, Kenyatta served as Prime Minister and then President. His rule was not without controversy but he is largely regarded as the Father of modern-day Kenya.
USAR (Urban Search And Rescue) is an organization who is dedicated to the location, extraction from dangerous sites and subsequent stabilization of people who have been in the site of a building collapse.
This organization helped victims during the Oklahoma City bombing of 1995 and also made great efforts during the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001. Among these efforts were bringing relatives of the victims of the Oklahoma City bombing to New York City in order to provide grief counseling after the terrorist attacks of 09/11/2011.

England concerned itself with quantity products it exported out of the country in comparison to the countries they traded with. England did not want to be left behind and be overcome by other countries especially those in Asia. They did not export much so artists and merchants started creating and inventing goods that enabled them to compete with the Asian market.
They avoided copying Asian products by imitating products form countries like France, Holland, Switzerland and Spain (which also traded with Asia) and used techniques that were proven successful methods used by these countries for a superior output.
