Now the smallest population in the tundra is fish yes the tundra is short on various types of fish which isn't a big deal honestly, these fish include cod, flatfish, salmon, and trout. Now then last topic of this essay, one niche thing about the tundra is the Arctic geese they are, large and powerful animals. They, like the snowy owls, make their nests on the ground. This makes them vulnerable to attack from arctic foxes. To protect their young, these animals will actually build their nests close to another predator; the snowy owl. The danger from the owls is less than that of the foxes.
