Answer:

x= .41666666666

Step-by-step explanation:

3x + 7 (3x - 11) = 67

PEMDAS

7 times 3x= 21x

7 times 11= 77

3x+21x+77=67

add the like terms together (only the ones that are on the same side of the equal sign).

3x+21x= 24x

24x+77=67

if you need to cancel out 77

what you do to one side you have to to the other

77-77= 0

67-77= -10

24x= -10

then you divide both sides by 24x

24x/24x= x

-10/24x= .41666666666

x= .41666666666

hope this helps :-)

X=6, if you are asking for what x is. I assume you’re asking for x since there is no other context.

Solve the system by the elimination method
7x+5y=-25
5x+3y=-23
aksik [14]

Step-by-step explanation:

7x+5y=25 ×3 7×-1.5+5y=25

5x+3y= -23 ×5 -10.5 +5y =25

5y= 25 + 10.5

21x+15y=75 5y= 35.5

25x+15y=69 y= 7.1

-4x=6

x=-1.5

ABC is not a right angled triangle

Solution:

Given that, Triangle ABC has perimeter 18 cm

AB = 7 cm

BC = 3 cm

We have to find whether ABC is a right angled triangle

Let the sides of triangle be AB, BC, AC

Perimeter of triangle is given by formula:

perimeter = sum of length of all three sides of triangle

18 = AB + BC + AC

18 = 7 + 3 + AC

AC = 18 - 10

AC = 8

Thus the length of sides of triangle are:

AB = 7 cm

BC = 3 cm

AC = 8 cm

For a triangle to be right angle, it must satisfy the pythagoras theorem

Pythagorean theorem, states that the square of the length of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of squares of the lengths of other two sides of the right-angled triangle.

The longest side of triangle is hypotenuse

Therefore, AC = 8 cm is the hypotenuse

Thus by above theorem we get,

AC^2 = AB^2+BC^2

Substituting the values we get,

8^2 = 7^2 + 3^2\\\\64 = 49 + 9\\\\64 \neq 58

Thus the pythagoras theorem is not satisfied

Thus ABC is not a right angled triangle

Rewrite the definition ‘Parallel lines are equidistant from each other” in biconditional form...please help!!! ...?
sleet_krkn [62]
To rewrite it in biconditional form, we write it as follows:

Two line are parallel if and only if they are equidistant from each other.

Biconditionals are true when both statements (facts) have the exact same truth value. Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day.
