Answer:

working class people

Explanation:

The steam engine started the first Industrial Revolution. The jump in goods production has opened new jobs that attracted a mass of rural people. With overwork and shortage of vacancies, free negotiation between employers and employees has produced devastating results: hours of up to 70 hours a week, children and women with lower wages and work accidents leaving masses of cripples and dead.

Workers' movements began to claim better conditions. Demonstrations and strikes, initially treated as police cases, showed that state intervention was needed to protect the weaker party. Labor law arose to balance asymmetrical power relations in seeking real equality between employers and employees.

What was the proposed Indian state of Sequoyah?
Yuri [45]

Answer:

The State of Sequoyah was a proposed state to be established from the Indian Territory in the eastern part of present-day Oklahoma. In 1905, with the end of tribal governments looming, Native Americans of the Five Civilized Tribes—the Cherokee, Choctaw, Chickasaw, Creek, and Seminole—in Indian Territory proposed to create a state as a means to retain control of their lands. Their intention was to have a state under Native American constitution and governance. The proposed state was to be named in honor of Sequoyah, the Cherokee who created a writing system in 1825 for the Cherokee language.
