Spinning the first and second spinner will give 5 and 7 outcomes, respectively. To determine the total combinations or total outcome if these two are spun, use the <em>Fundamental Principles of Counting</em>. The total outcome is the product of the two outcomes. Thus, the answer is 35.

Answer: Hence, there are 35 outcomes in total if both the spinners are spun.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Number of outcomes for spinner numbered 1 to 5 = 5

Number of outcomes for spinner numbered 6 to 12 = 7

So, Using the Fundamental theorem of Counting, we get the total number of outcomes when both the spinners are spun together.

So, Number of total outcomes would be

7\times 5\\\\=35

Hence, there are 35 outcomes in total if both the spinners are spun.

Negative means less.

Positive means more.

as a negative # moves farther away from 0, it becomes smaller.

i.e.

Find the missing side of each triangle. Leave your answers in simplest radical form.
jeka57 [31]

Answer:

x = 2\sqrt{34}

Step-by-step explanation:

Using Pythagoras identity in the right triangle

x² = 10² + 6² = 100 + 36 = 136 ( take the square root of both sides )

x = \sqrt{136} = \sqrt{4(34)} = 2\sqrt{34}

will the opposite of a number always,sometimes,or never be greater than the number itself??????? can someone do an example and a
weeeeeb [17]

When the number is positive, its opposite is less than the number.

9 ==> -9 . . . . . . less
72 ==> -72 . . . . less
324 ==> -324 . . less

When the number is negative, its opposite is greater than the number.

-8 ==> 8 . . . . . . greater
-3/4 ==> 3/4 . . . greater
-429 ==> 429 . . greater .

We've seen that the opposite can be less, and it can also be greater.
I guess that means that it's sometimes greater.
