In her essay, Jordan uses appeals to emotion and reason to try to persuade her readers that her views are important. She tries to touch feelings when she writes "<em>What we need now is soul force—the efforts of people working on a small scale to build a truly tolerant, harmonious society. And parents can do a great deal to create that tolerant society".  </em>

And she makes you reason when she writes "<em>When I look at race relations today I can see that some positive changes have come about. But much remains to be done, and the answer does not lie in more legislation. We have the legislation we need: we have the laws".</em>

I find Jordan´s appeals convincing. Teaching tolerance is not something that laws can do, tolerance is learned at home, in a family, especially when parents teach you respect to people, no matter what skin color they have.  This is the ground upon which a civilized society should be built.

Answer:

The inference that could be drawn from the story is:

O. He knows more about the beggar than the king does.

Explanation:

In the story of the beggar and the King, it tells about a king who rules a kingdom and a beggar who also lives in the same kingdom. <em>Most times, the beggar would visit the kings palace hoping to get food or assistance but would not be successful. It was the servant of the king who was able to assist him most of the times due to the connection between them.</em>

I'd perfer lower premium a d a lower deductible. Having to pay more upfront is more manageable and is easier to plan for in the future. when setting up my budget I can put the lower premium in and plan around it but if it was higher then that would be harder to do.
