Need help please ...It's urgent....about quote textual evidence to support the inference. Thank you.
nignag [31]

Answer:

I believe the quote that does not support the inference that living in Alaska can be a challenge is:

c) "During this time, Alaskans spend a lot of time outside enjoying nature."

Explanation:

Quotes A, B, and D all talk about the challenges of living in Alaska. Alaskans need to worry about their vitamin D intake, about adjusting their lifestyles to lack or excess of light, etc. However, option C does not talk of a challenge or a difficulty. If we read option C without the context given in the passage, we would not at all guess that it has anything to do with a difficult, demanding lifestyle. It sounds as if Alaskans simply get to have fun in nature. For that reason, letter C is the one that does not support the inference that living in Alaska can be a challenge.

What does this quote mean to you: "Making stuff is the heart of everything.
Kruka [31]
Well I would put, “The opportunity of making in whatever situation will always be there and that’s the importance of making things, there is NO limit!”

In Monster, how does looking at the trial from a different perspective most likely help Steve Harmon? It improves his relationsh
zaharov [31]

Answer:

It allows him to separate his emotions from the events.

Explanation:

Walter Dean Myers's novel Monster revolves around the murder trial that convicted James King while Steve Harmon was released. Through the third omniscient narrator and also at times from the diary entry point of view of Steve, the story presents the trial and also the numerous emotions and the way they are looked at even by their own counsels.

When Steve looks at the trial from a different perspective, from the point of view of the lawyers, the others involved in the trial, he was able to see the facts as they are and not favoring his own feelings. This detachment helps or allows him to separate his emotions from the events, away from his own fears and thoughts that may hinder his perception of what the trail entails. And through his act of writing about the trial as a screenplay, it allows him to see the scene from different perspectives, the viewpoints of the other people, the movement, the scene, the problem, and the murder.
