A rain barrel is full of water and used to water the garden. The rain barrel loses water at the rate 2.5 gallons of water per mi
nute. After seven minutes, the rain barrel contains 37.5 gallons. Write an equation in point-slope form to model the number of gallons (y) of water in the rain barrel after (x) minutes. Show or Explain your work.
The answer, at least what I got, is 17.375 . They'd have to open an eighteenth package because the extra .375 is not in the original package, so I would go with B .
