Their progress and wealth is highly dependent on the harvests, and the price of grain. They probably have to import some industrial products and if they had a bad year (weather, other catastrophies, poor technology) they can't get the necessary amount of industrial products in exchange for their surplus e. g. in grain.

What is the term used for overlapping of data from a GIS? (geographic information system)
melamori03 [73]

Answer:

Overlay is a GIS operation that superimposes multiple data sets (representing different themes) together for the purpose of identifying relationships between them.[2]. An overlay creates a composite map by combining the geometry and attributes of the input data sets. Tools are available in most GIS software for overlaying both Vector or raster data.

Explanation:

Before the use of computers, a similar effect was develioped by Ian McHarg and others by drawing maps of the same area at the same scale on clear plastic and actually laying them on top of each other.

"Using the transit method, how many times must a dip in the brightness of a star be observed before it can qualify as an actual
joja [24]

Answer:

Four times.

Explanation:

 • The transit method is a method that is used to detect the star or a planet system and has orbits aligned to each other and the planet travel between the planets and the star and it temporarily blocks some of the light each time in orbit.
 • And this dimming of the light can help us identify the size of the planet as a star will create slight dimming light while a large planet will have a noticeable effect. And this method can be used to calculate the planets density and composition and mass.
 • The primary transit is when the planet passes in front of the star and the secondary transits are when it completely disappears behind the planet while the brightness dimes more in at the third and second time the star passes by.
