Well seeing that he already gets 300 he only needs to make 200 so do 200 divided by 15 which would equal 13.33 repeating so if he sold 14 bikes he would have $210  300 + 15(b)=500 1st step 500-300=200 2nd step 200/15=13.33 round to 14 step 3 14x15=210 so he would need to sell 14 bikes

URGENT HELP PLEASE!
Vaselesa [24]

Answer:

(a) x=\dfrac{\pi}{8},\dfrac{3\pi}{8},\dfrac{9\pi}{8},\dfrac{11\pi}{8}

(b) x=\dfrac{3\pi}{2},\dfrac{\pi}{6},\dfrac{5\pi}{6}

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that 0\leq x\leq 2\pi.

(a)

\sqrt{2}\sin 2x=1

\sin 2x=\dfrac{1}{\sqrt{2}}

\sin 2x=\dfrac{\pi}{4}

2x=\dfrac{\pi}{4},\dfrac{3\pi}{4},\dfrac{9\pi}{4},\dfrac{11\pi}{4}     [\because \sin x=\sin y\Rightarrow x=n\pi+(-1)^ny]

x=\dfrac{\pi}{8},\dfrac{3\pi}{8},\dfrac{9\pi}{8},\dfrac{11\pi}{8}

(b)

\csc^2 x-\csc x-2=0

\csc^2 x-2\csc x+\csc x-2=0

\csc x(\csc x-2)+1(\csc x-2)=0

(\csc x+1)(\csc x-2)=0

\csc x=-1\text{ or }\csc x=2

\sin x=-1\text{ or }\sin x=\dfrac{1}{2}         [\because \sin x=\dfrac{1}{\csc x}]

x=\dfrac{3\pi}{2}\text{ or }x=\dfrac{\pi}{6},\dfrac{5\pi}{6}

Therefore, x=\dfrac{3\pi}{2},\dfrac{\pi}{6},\dfrac{5\pi}{6}.

Please solve this question
777dan777 [17]
The first figure, on left, is the composition of two areas, the area of a 7cm circle and the area of a 7 cm square so:

A=7^2+7^2π/4

A=49+49π/4

A=49(1+π/4) cm^2

A≈87.48 cm^2  (to nearest hundredth of a square centimeter)

...

The second figure is the area of a 15cm by 8cm rectangle minus the area of a 3cm circle so:

A=15(8)-3^2π/4

A=120-9π/4

A=120-2.25π cm^2

A≈112.93 cm^2  (to nearest hundredth of a square centimeter)
