Answer:    Holocaust

Explanation:  Anti-Semitism is an antagonism towards Jews based on prejudice. The reasons for this antagonism are rooted from ancient times on the basis of myths and stereotypes, and in part are practical reasons, unjustified guilt for poor economic conditions. Thus, in the Middle Ages, unseen hatred toward Jews was recorded, especially during the Crusades, when it was not rare for the Jews to experience pogrom.

Thus, on the basis of bad economic conditions at the time of the Great Depression, in Germany all the guilt were attributed to the Jews. Malicious propaganda was carried out against them, which would later lead to the Holocaust in WWII.

Why did The Crusades fail?
Eddi Din [679]
By the end of the 13th century, Crusading had become more expensive. The time had passed when a Crusade army was made up of knights who served under a lord and paid their own way. Economic pressures caused many nobles to seek royal service. Royal armies, therefore, became more professional, and many knights as well as foot soldiers served for pay. Moreover, the rise of royal authority meant that great Crusades could no longer be cobbled together by feudal lords but were increasingly reliant on kings, who were by their nature easily distracted by events at home.
