In the movie why doesn't scout want to come into the breakfast room on her first day of school?
AysviL [449]
I believe it is because she is wearing a dress.
Scout is a tomboy, and she never wore a dress in her life, having spent most of her childhood around boys. Now, she has to start going to school and she has to dress properly, like a good girl, which is something she is not fond of. So she is embarrassed of people seeing her in a dress which is why she doesn't want to come into the breakfast room.

Why did casely hayford resent the British presence in and control of west african countries
Colt1911 [192]

Answer and Explanation:

Casely Hayford was an African/wesy African who like most of the rights movements leaders of his time resisted the British imperialism mainly because it striped Africa of its culture and heritage.

Casely Hanford was a Ghanaian journalist and lawyer who was also known to have written several books to oppose the British colonialism such as it has to do with their land management acts and how it was detrimental to African identity and convention. He was also deeply involved in the movement for African emancipation such as his participation in Booker T Washington's Negro Conference of 1912.
