The Korean War began on 25th June 1950 and lasted till 27th July 1953. It started when North Korea invaded South Korea. The war ended with an armistice. The armistice lasted for 158 meetings, two years and 17 days. The Korean Armistice is a purely military document. the signatories don't include any nation. The Two terms of the armistice were that to withdraw military forces from 4 Kilometers wide zone which is known as Demilitarized Zone, it established a military armistice treaty Commission for the discussion of violations. The Armistice was not a permanent peace treaty.
