If we have a 13-gon, n=13

Then

Sum-of-interior-angles-n-gon+= (13-2) x 180

Sum-of-interior-angles-n-gon+=(11) x 180

Sum-of-interior-angles-n-gon+= (11) x 180

Sum-of-interior-angles-n-gon+= 1980

Hope this helps!

In a regular 13 sided polygon you would calculate the interior angles with (n-2)180 N is the number of sides so subtract 13-2 to get 11 then multiply 11 times 180 to get 1,980

What is slope when talking about math
dolphi86 [110]
When graphing, its how much you rise and run
thats the formula when u have a graph and the question is asking for the slope.
you chose a point, and go down or up however many times it goes to the next point, and you run to the left however many times it gets you to get to that point.
if the line goes downward the slope is therefore negative, and if the line goes upward, the slope is therefore, positive.
m in math is meant to be slope, so m= \frac{rise}{run}

there are 20 guests at a party the host has 8 gallons of punch he estimates that each guess within 2 cups of punch if his estima
AlekseyPX
STEP 1:
convert gallons to cups & calculate total number of cups

1 gallon= 16 cups

= 8 gallons * 16 cups/gallon
= 128 cups total

STEP 2:
calculate total cups estimated for 20 guests

= 20 guests * 2 cups/guest
= 40 cups needed for guests

STEP 3:
subtract the difference between step 1 and step 2 to find leftover punch

= 128 cups - 40 cups
= 88 cups leftover

OR

GALLONS LEFTOVER
= 88 ÷ 16 cups/gallon= 5 1/2 gallons

ANSWER: There will be 88 cups or 5 1/2 gallons of punch leftover.

Hope this helps! :)

What is the value of x in the equation 1.5(x + 4) – 3 = 4.5(x – 2)? 3 4 5 9
Arisa [49]

1.5(x + 4) - 3 = 3.5(x - 2)

We need to use the distributive property to simplify this.

1.5x + 6 - 3 = 3.5x - 7

Subtract 1.5x from both sides

6 - 3 = 2x - 7

Simplify left side

3 = 2x - 7

Add 7 to both sides

10 = 2x

Divide both sides by 2

x = 5
