Since Krystal and Scott is heading on opposite directions, therefore the distance between the two would be the sum of their distances from where they left, so:

total distance (d) = distance covered by Krystal (dK) + distance covered by Scott (dS)

d = dK + dS

We know that the formula for distance is:

distance = velocity * time

So,

d = vK * t + vS * t

where

vK = velocity of Krystal = 61 mph

vS = velocity of Scott = 65 mph

d = 252 miles

Therefore:

252 = 61 t + 65 t

126 t = 252

t = 2 hours

Therefore Scott needs to travel for 2 hours.

Find the coordinates of the intersection of the diagonals of parallelogram GHJK with vertices G(0,2), H(4,2), J(3,0), and K(-1,0
zimovet [89]

Answer:

(1.5,1)

Step-by-step explanation:

The midpoint of G and H is at (2,2).

The midpoint if J and K is (1,0)

The midpoint of the two midpoints is (1.5,1)

You could also i.e. directly ask for the midpoint of H an K, OR, G and J, and you would get the same final result.

4. Miguel is helping his mom paint his home. He finished 2 rooms in ⅓ of an hour. How many rooms can he paint in 1 hour?
lilavasa [31]

Answer: 6

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's use a rule of three here.

2 rooms in 1/3 h

x rooms in 1 h

\frac{2}{x}=\frac{\frac{1}{3} }{1}

Solve for x;

x=\frac{2*1}{\frac{1}{3} }

Remember that when you divide by a fraction, you invert the fraction and multiply by the numerator.

1/3 inverted is 3/1 or 3

x=(2*1)*3

x=(2)*3\\x=6

Please identify the common angles and sides or if there are non. Explain all work please!
stepladder [879]

Answers:

Common angles: ΔBGC and ΔGDC

Common sides: ΔGE and ΔAG

A common angle is a triangle that exists in two or both of the triangles.

Here, the common angles should be ΔBGC and ΔGDC.

These two angles are triangles, and they consist in both triangles.

A common side is when two angles have one vertex in the same area.

Here, we see that the common sides are ΔGE, because they intersect.

Another common side we see here is ΔAG, because they also intersect.

Hope this answer helps you!
