10 dollars. 8÷4=2. 8+2=10

25%= 4

25 % can be converted to a fraction of .25 (do this by dividing 25% by 100 so 25/100=.25)
Then do .25 x 8 which will get you 2 dollars. So the 2 dollars is 25% of the sale. Then do 2+8 =10
So when you sell it you will make a 25% profit (the 2 dollars)
