The answer is D: their tone is always objective.

When writing nonfiction, the author should always use an objective tone in order to convey an idea, or set of ideas, in formal language, trying to achieve precision, conciseness, accuracy and demonstrability (this latter characteristic entails that any claim made in the piece of writing can be corroborated by anybody else). Objectivity and formal language are aimed at avoiding ambiguities and miscomprehension.

Everyday words such as sheep and knife are not suitable for use in poetry. True False
tatuchka [14]
It is false that everyday words such as sheep and knife are not suitable for use in poetry. Any word can be used in poetry, it is just how you go about using those words. There are many figures of speech which you can use to transform simple everyday words into words of art that can evoke very strong feelings. Words on their own don't have such a strong meaning unless you use them properly in literature.
