He thinks that Dally is just like his big brother because Dally was always there for johnny. Dally always kept him away from troubles because he cares for Johnny. In Dally's world, Johnny is the only person that he cares for. He doesn't want Johnny to be cold-hearted and mean like himself. So Johnny feels that Dally is just like his big brother.
