Just remember that in most School math, "of" usually means "times". If you remember that, the answer to this problem almost jumps out at you. It's just (2.25) x (8).

That's 18.

What's 10x10^100 power ?
MArishka [77]
The answer is 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000. This is basically 101 zeros. The reason for that is because since 10^100 already has 100 zeros, multiplying it by one more will give it one more zero making it 101 zeros.
However, if you want it in an exponent form the answer is 10^101 I believe.

Which are the roots of the quadratic function f(b) = 62 – 75? Select two options.
elena55 [62]

Answer:

b = 5 \sqrt{3} \ or\ b = -5 \sqrt{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

f(b) = b^2 - 75

Required

Determine the roots

To get the root of the function, then f(b) must be 0;

i.e. f(b) = 0

So, the expression becomes

0 = b^2 - 75

Add 75 to both sides

75 + 0 = b^2 - 75 + 75

75 = b^2

Take square roots of both sides

\sqrt{75} = \sqrt{b^2}

\sqrt{75} = b

Reorder

b = \sqrt{75}

Expand 75 as a product of 25 and 3

b = \sqrt{25*3}

Split the expression

b = \sqrt{25} *\sqrt{3}

b = \±5 *\sqrt{3}

b = \±5 \sqrt{3}

b = 5 \sqrt{3} \ or\ b = -5 \sqrt{3}

The options are not clear enough; however the roots of the equation are b = 5 \sqrt{3} \ or\ b = -5 \sqrt{3}

If f(x)= 3x + 10x and g(x)=5x - 3 find (f+g)(x)
Illusion [34]

Answer:

18x-3

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x)= 3x + 10x

g(x)=5x - 3

f(x)+g(x) = 3x + 10x + 5x - 3

Combine like terms

             = 18x -3

A square park has an area of 1/16 square miles and a length of 1/4 mile. What is
Yakvenalex [24]
<h3>Answer:  1/4 mile</h3>

Explanation:

A square has all four sides the same length. So the length and width are the same.

We can see that (length)*(width) = (1/4)*(1/4) = 1/16 square miles.

If you wanted, you could solve for W in (1/4)*W = 1/16 and you should get W = 1/4.
