Answer:

Historians have to be careful of letting personal experiences, cultural backgrounds, or their own biased viewpoints cloud their work.

Explanation:

Historians have a very difficult task when they need to tell and research historical facts. This is because historical sources may contain several false accounts and true accounts may not be in accordance with the historian's principles and what he believed for this event. For this reason, the historian must be very committed to the idea of disclosing true information, so historians need to be careful to let personal experiences, cultural experiences, or their own biased viewpoints obscure their work.

What territories were gained by the United States as a result of the Mexican-American war?
GalinKa [24]

Hey there!

There are a few different territories that were gained by the Mexican-American war. The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo granted the Mexican cession to the U.S. If by territories you mean states, the Mexican Cession included parts of states including California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Wyoming. When Texas was completely annexed, it gave the U.S. all of Texas and parts of New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Kansas. The Gadsden Purchase also gave the U.S. parts of Southern Arizona and New Mexico including cities such as Tucson.
