I think the term is union busting where they prevent formation of unions.  This way, the management will be able to have more control over how things run without union interference.  Other methods could be blacklisting them to ensure they won’t work for other companies.

Many policies changed due to new form of outdoor recreation of the Americans, not only women began to participate in this type of recreation, but the state saw in the need to regularize this new lifestyle, and in turn , implement policies for the benefit of society, these policies were from the national to the local, states and cities began to create spaces for recreation, and this became so necessary, that today there are professions and jobs dedicated to this, to recreate, that is why every day we see how more recreation spaces are built and cities compete to have the most modern and best spaces, as well as influence countries all over the world to do the same.
