Answer:

False

Explanation:

The Incas were not only experts in terms of agriculture and livestock, but also were developing an irrigation system to get more land of crops, this system was called "cultivation terraces" which consisted of making terraces as long of the mountains. And to irrigate their crops, they changed the routes of several rivers to provide channels for these terraces.

The Coastal Incas were the greatest hydraulic engineers since they were perfected creating more sophisticated methods such as Mochicas and Chimu.

They also used the method of the ridges and their techniques, among them, the tracing of artificial furrows to give protection to the plants, to facilitate the drainage during the rains, floods, as sources of fertilizer and, especially, to reduce the crude nightly cold in Heights. In Cuzco, the two streams that cross the city were channeled, paving their channels and establishing pedestrian bridges.
