Candace notices that Bow Wow has developed a reputation as the best place to bring "problem dogs" for day care. Because of the c

areful attention of the staff, dogs that don’t get along well with other dogs, either because they’re aggressive or because they’re fearful, can safely stay at Bow Wow. This has resulted in an uptick in business, but staff are stretched very thin to accommodate all the dogs with special needs. What would be appropriate corrective actions? Check all that apply. Continue to serve every dog that is brought to Bow Wow as well as possible, since customer service is a high priority. Coach employees who devote too much time to any one dog to give every dog equal time, and formally reprimand any employees who do not improve. Identify this as a threat and adopt a more rigorous screening process before accepting dogs, as well as charge more for dogs who have had a behavioral incident during a previous stay. Identify this as an opportunity to differentiate Bow Wow and adopt a focus strategy to serve owners of dogs with social challenges.

Answer:

1. Continue to serve every dog that is brought to Bow Wow as well as possible, since customer service is a high priority and 2. Identify this as a threat and adopt a more rigorous screening process before accepting dogs, as well as charge more for dogs who have had a behavioral incident during a previous stay.

Explanation:

Bow Wow has as its best quality in the market the ability to treat well challenging dogs. This is what makes Bow Wow different. Focusing on not losing that characteristic, it would be paramount to maintain the ability to serve every dog as best as possible. Even the challenging ones. However, it is not wise from a business point of view to charge the same from dogs that have very different degrees of attention needs. Hence, it would be proper to charge more from the owners who have more difficult dogs. As Bow Wow will not lose its reputation, those owners will see that its worth the extra cost at the same that its not possible to bring to another daycare.

To copy text in a word document to an Excel spreadsheet, you should first format the text as a Word table or as text separated b
geniusboy [140]

Answer:

Commas, tabs, semicolon, or spaces.

Explanation:

In Excel, commas, tabs, semicolon, or spaces are known as delimited values, and you can tell excel which option your data has in order to separate it. For example, if you copy and paste text that will be used for column header you can use the "Text to Columns" tool, click "delimited" and next, and then check the box next to which type of separator you are using (commas, tabs, etc). The tool will then separate every item of text with that type of separator into different columns.

During 2018, TRC Corporation has the following inventory transactions.
Soloha48 [4]

Answer:

Results are below.

Explanation:

Giving the following information:

Jan. 1 Beginning inventory 48 $40 $1,920

Apr. 7 Purchase 128 42 5,376

Jul. 16 Purchase 198 45 8,910

Oct. 6 Purchase 108 46 4,968

For the entire year, the company sells 427 units of inventory for $58 each.

Ending inventory units= 482 - 427= 55

1)

Under the FIFO (first-in, first-out) method, the ending inventory is calculated using the cost of the lasts units remaining in inventory.

Ending inventory= 55*46= $2,530

COGS= 48*40 + 128*42 + 198*45 + 53*46= $18,644

Revenue= 427*58= $24,766

Gross profit= 24,766 - 18,644= $6,122

2)

Under the LIFO (last-in, first-out) method, the ending inventory is calculated using the cost of the firsts units remaining in inventory.

Ending inventory= 48*40 + 7*42= $2,214

COGS= 108*46 + 198*45 + 121*42= $18,960

Revenue= 427*58= $24,766

Gross profit= 24,766 - 18,960= $5,806

3)

First, we need to calculate the weighted-average cost:

weighted-average cost= (40 + 42 + 45 + 46) / 4= $43.25

Ending inventory= 55*43.25= $2,378.75

COGS= 427*43.25= $18,467.75

Revenue= 427*58= $24,766

Gross profit= 24,766 - 18,467.75= $6,298.25

Major Co. reported 2016 income of $303,000 from continuing operations before income taxes and a before-tax loss on discontinued
Mama L [17]

Answer: $109,080; $145,920

Explanation:

Based on the information that have been provided in the question, the following can be gotten:

The amount for income tax expenses will be:

= 36% of $303,000

= 36/100 × $303,000

= 0.36 × $303,000

= $109,080

The net income will be:

Reported income = $303,000

Less income tax = $109,080

Less loss on discounted operation = $48,000

Net income = $145,920

Loss on discounted operation:

= $75,000 × (1 - 36%)

= $75,000 × (1 - 0.36)

= $75,000 × 0.64

= $48,000
