What could happen if there was a mistake durning prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase?

During prophase the DNA condenses into chromosomes and fibers begin to extend from the centromeres, the part of the chromosomes that links the two arms,or chromatids. During metaphase, the chromosomes move to the center of the cell and are aligned in a area known the metaphase plate. Anaphase is the phase of mitosis during which the chromosomes begin to move toward opposite sides of the cell. The chromosomes move towards the centriols in a way that one chromosomes from each pair move towards each pole. During telophase, the chromosomes reach the poles and new nuclear membranes form around the chromosomes, creating the nuclei for two new cells. The chromosomes decondense and the cell splits into two daughter cells, each with a nucleus.

Bezzdna [24]

Answer:

four phenotypes appear in the ratio 9:3:3:1

Explanation:

For a dihybrid cross in which the two genes concerned obey simple dominant/recessive law and are independently assorting, four phenotypes are produced in the ratio 9:3:3:1.

The dominant gene takes up the largest ratio (9/16) while the recessive gene takes up the smallest (1/16). Any deviation from 9:3:3:1 and the number of phenotypes produced from a dihybrid cross is an indication that the genes involved do not obey Mendelian laws.

Could you use the dichotomous key in this section to identify a species of
Pepsi [2]

Answer:

Yes, the species of a lizard can be identified using dichotomous keys.

Explanation:

A dichotomous key is an identification tool used by the biologists especially taxonomists to identify and classify the organisms.

The dichotomous keys are based on the characteristic feature of an organism for which two which contains two contrasting feature. The dichotomous keys are the most common tools used to classify an organism.

A species of lizard can be identified using these keys by selecting the key characteristic feature shown by the species which could be quantitative like weight, height or it could be qualitative like colour. By comparing these characteristics, it becomes easy to identify the species.
