We need to find the area of the cylinder.

A = 2 * 3.14 * 4in * 9 in + 2 * 3.14 * (4in)</span><span>²
A = 226.08 in</span><span>² + 6.28 * 16in</span><span>²
A = 226.08 in</span><span>² + 100.48 in</span><span>²
A = 326.56 in</span><span>²</span>
Total area needed for 1,500 oatmeal boxes.

326.56 in² * 1,500 oatmeal box = 489,840 in²
