Foreign influence in trade routes might have influenced things like religion and beliefs of people living along those routes. For exemple, the Buhdhism spread from China to Korea and Japan, and Islamic religion moved from the Middle East to West Africa and Asia. Religion influences in the way a person lives their lives, how they think, behave, eat and even dress.
