Answer: whether he and Lenore will be united in heaven.

In this excerpt, the speaker is talking to the raven. Thinking that the raven is a messenger from the underworld, he assumes he has information about the fate of the speaker and of Lenore. He, therefore, asks the speaker whether he will, in the future, be able to once again hold his beloved Lenore.

Why are plays divided into acts and scenes
murzikaleks [220]
A scene is a part of an act defined with the changing of characters. To be more specific, the elements that create the plot of a play or any story, and divide a play into acts include the exposition, which gives information, setting up the rest of the story.

5. Is the wording of Shakespeare's scene
charle [14.2K]

Shakespeare's scenes are not meant to sound like real dialogue.

Explanation:

Theater in the time of Shakespeare was yet to focus on the realistic aspect of dialogue. It was often lyrical, musical and indirect.

Shakespeare himself used verse extensively in his plays resorting to prose very sparingly in the tragedies and a little more in the comedies and the problem plays.

The dialogue is not supposed to be realistic in content but in theme as it is what someone might say in a situation, but it is highly ornamented and loaded in Shakespearean double entendres and purposes.
