How did the war with Japan, Bloody Sunday, & Rasputin lead to the fall of the Czar?
LenKa [72]

Answer:

All the factors proved Tsar’s disconnection from his people and their wellbeing. Tsar suffered a great defeat in the war, he attacked protestors, and he listened to Rasputin of whom people were disapproving. Because of all of this, Tsar’s authority was disputed and people were angry that he was the monarch and the leader.

Explanation:

All of the three factors have reflected negatively on the public image of Tsar Nicholas II and have portrayed his inability to follow the ideas of the people.

 • During the Russo-Japanese war, Tsar has refused to make an armistice with Japan that has been offered to him. He stubbornly continued the fight, with many casualties, certain that they shall win at the end. After numberless defeats, Japan took the victory.
 • This has affected the rise of the Russian revolution, which was the consequence of the dissatisfaction of people. During the Bloody Sunday of 1905. that have started the revolution, the Imperial Guard attacked demonstrators and killed one to two hundred people. Russians were angry at Tsar and his decisions and started to turn against his authority.
 • Finally, Rasputin’s connection to the imperial family completely ruined the picture of the authority among the Russian people. Mystic and self-proclaimed son of God served as Tsaritsa's and children’s healer, and his friendship to the noble family was known to people. He became rather influential upon Tsar’s decisions. Yet, the Russian people did not like him – they found him sinister, the fraud, and his connection to the throne were scandalous. It once again disputed Tsar’s credibility and made people trust his ideas and leadership even less.
