The answer is : I wouldn't be interested if I were you either. However, I know you'll be interested when you hear about... it's very exciting! (If prospect still says no), what would be a better time to talk?


The idea behind this is that you need to make sure that you 'Accept' what the customer says and ensure that they understand you are on their side.

Try to look at the whole situation from the point of the customer and tell them that whatever you are saying is only for their benefit and not to 'sell' them anything. 

At the end, even if they say no, try to push for another time to ask.

The whole thing should not feel 'pushy' and ensure that the customer throughout feels relaxed.
