Consider the regular pentagon ABCDE, with center (of mass)  O.

The central angle O is a complete angle, so its measure is 360°.

It is divided into 5 equal parts, so each of them has a measure of 360°/5=72°.

If we rotate the pentagon, with point O as the center of the rotation, we can map A to any of the other points.

The smallest angle of rotation is the angle which mas A to E, 72°.

Answer: 61.12 ft squared

Explanation: The formula for area of a circle is Pi(radius squared), the line that is eight ft is the diameter of the circle. half of it would be the radius. plug in data as usual but make sure to divide your answer by 2 because you don’t have a complete circle. You only have half. For your triangle the formula is 1/2 base • height. your height would be the 8ft line from the half circle and the base would be the bottom line of the triangle. Don’t forget to divide the base of the triangle by 2. Plug in your data. Then add your two amounts to get your answer.
